The Future

Our accounting firm, like many others is fully networked. All of our desktop PCs, printers and desktop scanners as well as twelve full size printers/scanners/copiers are connected.

The difference between us and others is how we access and visualize the data. I built an end-to-end accounting back office that the entire office is using internally. Staff can access your data via a multi-factor authentication (MFA) secured portal so you don’t need to remember or change your password, a powerpoint-like framework is used for editing, a calendar, an integrated point-of-sale (POS), a built-in geographical information system (GIS) so that if they choose, they can now view their data via a map.

This same secured portal is monitored by an machine learning chat-bot called E.L.A (short for Emerson Lee Accountant). ELA now interact with clients initially in English and gradually transitioning to Vietnamese and Thai.

The NLP is connected to Google’s DialogFlow. Clients will have the ability to self-onboard, submit documents, retrieve and print old returns, W2, etc… Clients will able to collaborate and interact with us via ELA across time zones, twenty-four hours per day, seven days a week and three hundred sixty-five days per year.

These value added services give us additional revenue stream and clients real time data access, real time invoicing, payment and a self-service dashboard that is catered to insights into their business.
